  1.  Who we are

When we use ‘we’ or ‘us’ in this policy, we refer to the company ATI Tank Hire Ltd. We are a business-to-business provider of tanks and silos to industrial companies in the oil and gas, construction, environmental, chemical and agricultural sectors. We are registered at Companies House, company registration no. 1766265.

  2.  Why we collect personal information and how we use it

We collect personal information to be able to deliver products, offers and services to companies in the sectors we operate in, as well as other content tailored to your interests.

For example, the information we collect may be used for the following purposes:

  • To process payment for purchases or services
  • To personalise information about us which we think may be of interest to you

The success of our business depends on your trust. We do not share any personal details with third-party organisations for marketing purposes.

Where you have consented to us doing so, from time to time, we would like to tell you about relevant offers, ideas, products and services at ATI. We may do this through the post, by email or by any other electronic means.

We respect your privacy and will not send you marketing messages if you tell us not to.

We publish occasional email newsletters, used to inform subscribers about products and services supplied by this website. Users can subscribe through an online automated process should they wish to do so and at their own discretion. Some subscriptions may be manually processed through prior written agreement with the user.

Email marketing campaigns published by this website or its owners may contain tracking facilities within the email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include the opening and forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content and the times, dates and frequency of activity. This information is used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their activity.

In compliance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) 2003, we give subscribers the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time through an automated system detailed in the email campaign footer.

All personal details relating to subscriptions are held securely and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR). No personal details are passed on to third parties or shared with external companies or people, apart from website email marketing providers such as MailChimp.

Under the GDPR, you may request a copy of personal information held about you by this website’s email newsletter software. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please write to the business address at the bottom of this policy.

  8.  Can you stop the use of your personal data for direct marketing?

We offer several ways for you to stop receiving direct marketing communications from us:

  • Click the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email communication we send you.
  • Email Wilma Earl wilma@ati-tanks.co.uk with the word ‘remove’ in the subject line and the email address that you wish to be removed within the email.

Please note that it may take up to 14 days for your request to be actioned.

ATI ensures that the necessary steps have been taken to protect the privacy of users when visiting our website. This website complies with all UK national laws and requirements for user privacy.

Communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that this website and its owners participate in are subject to the terms and conditions, as well as the privacy policies, held with each social media platform.

Users are advised to use social media platforms wisely and exercise due care and caution with regard to their own privacy and personal details.

This website may use social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to the social media platform in question. Users are advised before using such social sharing buttons that they do so at their own discretion and should note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page through your social media platform account.

This website may use social media platform accounts to share web links to relevant web pages. Some social media platforms shorten lengthy URLs (web addresses).

Users are advised to take care before clicking any shortened URLs published on social media platforms by this website and its owners.
