Typical applications
Site operators use self-bunded tanks to store and pump diesel to plant on site – taking the tank to the plant. Smaller units up to 10m3 can be lifted full on site, they have fork tunnels and lifting slings to do so. Larger units cannot be moved while containing diesel. Other contents typically stored in self-bunded tanks include:

• diesel for lorry fleets, helping logistics managers budget fuel use
• cooking oils for eco diesel manufacture
• methanol (with vapour recovery systems installed)
• glycerin
