Susanne Lumsden – Director
Susanne holds an MBA from London Business School and a degree in English Literature from Oxford University. Before joining ATI, she worked as a non-fiction book-publishing Director.
Following the death of her husband, Charles, in 2020, Susanne took on a hands-on role at ATI. In this capacity, she oversaw the development of a new database that links operational and accounting information. Today, she manages database operations, website development, and marketing initiatives, while mentoring staff in data analysis, excel formatting, and technical report writing.
‘Operating within a dynamic family-owned business offers a stimulating environment where no two days are the same,’ Susanne notes. ‘I am ambitious for ATI. We are a Tier 1 supplier with a brilliant tightly-knit team and tanks certified to DNV standards, the most rigorous offshore accreditation.’
In 2022, Susanne introduced the annual Charles Lumsden Memorial Race at Great Yarmouth Racecourse, held every June or July. Comments Susanne: ‘This event serves as a tribute to Charles and is a highlight of the ATI calendar. I am keen to work on further projects, particularly environmentally friendly ones, such as the Memorial Garden in partnership with Easton College in Norfolk.’
Her son, Alex, is an investment banker in New York and serves as a company director. Susanne lives in Ludlow, Shropshire with her daughter, Georgina, and two cocker spaniels, Milly and Amber.
