A great day was had by all at our annual Charles Lumsden/ATI Memorial Novice Race held at Great Yarmouth last Thursday.
First came a champagne reception. Next a surprise visit by magician Sean Goodman – whose sleight of hand impressed everyone!
We placed our bets from the day’s Racecard selection, then off to the balcony for the first race of the day.

The second race of the day was the The Charles Lumsden/ATI Memorial Novice Race. A memorial cup was presented to the winner (Cuban Secret ridden by Harry Davies) by our directors Susanne and Alex and Company Secretary James, accompanied by Charles’ daughter Georgina in judging the Best Turned-Out.
We then moved on to our dining room, beautifully presented interspersing races and courses (Horses for Courses you could say!)
The dining room was beautifully laid out – perfect with such easy access to the balcony
Our special guests and colleagues enjoyed a three-course gourmet dinner with plenty of wine and witty repartee! It helped disperse the gloom following universal take-up of of our ATI expert’s ‘hot tips’!
Thank you to Great Yarmouth Racecourse and their teams for making the day so special. See you next year!
